GEMS - a system for high performance electromagnetic simulation
The General Electro Magnetic Solvers (GEMS) is a software system developed in cooperation between KTH, Uppsala University and Swedish industry. It contains one time dependent Maxwell equation module based on a hybridization of finite difference, finite element and finite volume algorithms. It also has a frequency domain module with a hybridization of the boundary element method and the high frequency techniques of physical and geometrical optics. The system is written with message passing parallelization.
